TAKE

The TAMAHAGANE brand has established itself in Slovakia in record time. This is mainly due to the popular San Tsubame series, which became the best-selling Nippon Knives shortly after the launch. The exclusive San Kyoto series also gained its clientele. It is therefore only a logical result that Tamahagane is sending his professional series Take to Slovakia. 

These are all-metal knives that contain all the typical features of the TAMAHAGANE brand. The blade is three-layer and its core is made of VG-5 steel. It is protected on the sides by softer steel SUS 410. The steel thickness of the blade has been reduced from 20 mm to 2 mm by multiple rolling. This process ensures the removal of unwanted impurities and thus a hardness of up to 61 HRC. The blade is symmetrical in a "V" shape. In shaping the handles, the creator was inspired by one of the most important plants in the Far East. It is made of 18/8 stainless steel and resembles bamboo. Hence the name Take, which in Japanese means bamboo. It is considered a symbol of purity. The handle is not only aesthetic, but also exemplary ergonomic.
