Bread knives

This category of knives is often underestimated. Of course not from professional chefs, but from households.

There is an incorrect comparison with electric slicers. However, it is good to realize that there are many activities that, unlike bread knives, cannot handle slicers. These include, for example, slicing loaves of bread or hot pastries, slicing cakes and desserts, cutting chestnuts, etc. The knife can be used wherever the  serrated blade is the optimal solution.

Bread knives are characterized by long fixed toothed blades with a length of 20 to 25 cm. In general, the longer and stronger the blade, the more precise the result of the work. In Japan, these knives are called Pankiri.
