Masahiro MBS-26

The most important thing about any knife is the quality of its blade. Thanks to the high carbon properties of MBS-26 steel, the blades are thin and provide maximum cut control. MASAHIRO employs craftsmen with 30 years of experience, who manually grind each blade in a ratio of 7: 3. This means that even when it comes to double-sided grinding, the asymmetrical blade ensures greater cutting accuracy with less effort. Such a blade edge design is up to 35% thinner than with a conventional edge. The knife is therefore extremely sharp and there is no need to create pressure when working with it. Maintaining the blade profile is very easy. Basic grinding is done only on the right side, fine sharpening on both sides.

A professional knife must be powerful and practical. That's exactly what the creators of this series had in mind. The handles are made of maintenance-free synthetic material POM, which is characterized by its antibacterial properties. It is resistant to high temperatures and solvents. The rivets are precisely recessed and you will only notice them visually. Ergonomics are exemplary and the absence of any seams and cuts ensures the required hygienic parameters.

The MBS-26 High Carbon Stainless Steel series knives are reminiscent of European knife types. They are designed mainly for those who like this western type of knife, but require high cutting power. However, MASAHIRO incorporated the best of Japanese cutlery technology into the common form of the old continent.
