Blade cases

Japanese knives are characterized by thin blades with extreme edges. Their cutting performance is therefore incomparably higher compared to other knives. However, a thin and very hard blade requires more attention than it does with robust and not very hard competitors. This also applies to their storage. Knives should not come into contact with other metal objects, as this could lead to their dullness and, in the worst case, their chipping. Therefore, magnetic stands and magnetic strips are mainly used for their safe storage. They are mostly designed so that their owner is not deprived of the view of the craftsmanship of Japanese knife makers. However, if you decide to place the knives in the drawer together with other kitchen utensils, a blade case will help you. This will reliably protect the blade of your knife. Another advantage of such a case is its mobility. You can easily transfer the knife from home to work or for various culinary events without the risk of his sharp blade hurting someone.

In the case of the blade case, you can reach for the traditional wooden, which the Japanese call SAYA . In addition to its functionality, it is very stylish and aesthetically completes your knife. The downside is that not every saya sits on every blade. Consultation with the seller is therefore essential.
