Zanmai Ultimate Aranami
Introducing the Zanmai flagship - ZANMAI ULTIMATE ARANAMI.
At first glance, this indicates that this is not an ordinary knife. Aranami means sea waves in Japanese and just those
perform an incredible dance on his blade. Such a pattern is difficult to paint on, not to mention forging. It succeeded thanks to the "coreless" construction. The blade does not have a traditional core, but alternating layers of stainless steel VG-10 and VG-2. The resulting material is more resistant to twisting at high temperatures. In addition, in this design / VG-2 and VG-10 / it creates a more pronounced drawing than the classic damascene material. Unlike other manufacturers, the blade is not stamped, but laser-cut, which ensures
maximum accuracy. The company's specialty is rough grinding of the blade before hardening. The result is a harder blade edge. The edge is hand-ground on horizontal rotating whetstones. Unlike traditional single-bevelled eastern knives, Hamaguri is based on a "V" base blade, with its sides slightly convex in shape. Such a blade is robust enough, but it can make a cut without unwanted fibre deformation, thus preventing the escape of juices and fats.
Zanmai Ultimate Aranami knife handles are truly ultimate. In this class, "dress code" is without
debaty octagonal shape. Since the knife should be not only beautiful but also long-term reliable, the manufacturer made handles from the proven pakka wood material in brown-red color. A decorative accessory are trim rivets. The bolster as well as the cap of the handle are milled from an alloy of nickel and silver, thus meeting the strictest antibacterial parameters. Each edge is carefully sharpened by an experienced craftsman. The final product thus bears the marks of perfection.
Quality perfumes are packaged in imaginative flacons, jewelry in precision casettes. This is no different with Zanmai Ultimate Aranami knives. You will get them in a stylish wooden box, which you will definitely not want to say goodbye to. If that's not enough, you can order a traditional lacquered wooden case "saya" that protects the blade of your jewelry..
