In this case, it is the company Tojiro, which has a well-equipped and well-organized factory. The current owner belongs to the third generation of the company's founder clan. Tojiro employs experienced craftsmen, which is reflected in the final products.

In Japan, it is not common for a hand-forged knife to be finalized in one place. Tojiro is an exception. In addition to production with the help of modern technology, the company has a section where blacksmiths forge blades in the traditional way. They use proven materials such as aogami, shirogami or damascene steel with a VG-10 core. Forging milling takes place on huge vertical grinders without any tools. This is where the true craftsmanship of the craftsman must show. After milling, it is time to create a perfect edge, fit the handle and engrave. The owner aptly named this section Tojiro Knife Atelier . As the noblest pieces are born here, the name Tojiro Knife Atelier is hand-engraved in kanji characters on each blade.

The models we have selected for you have hagane made of VG-10 with a hardness of 61 HRC. It is covered on the sides with layers of softer and harder steel. The result is a very durable Damascus blade with 63 layers and a beautiful design. The knife has a full tang construction, so it is very strong, which is also expected from this segment. The handle is made of durable micarta material. Hunting knives are packed in traditional wooden boxes made of paulownia wood, which also include a leather belt case.
