In 1985, one of the best Japanese designers, Komin Yamada, was given an unlimited budget to create a set of revolutionary kitchen knives. The goal was to design exceptional shape, flawless ergonomics and balance, and all this at the highest quality without compromise. The collection of more than 50 products, which, thanks to their exceptionality and timelessness, are among the top on world markets, testifies to the fact that he handled this task perfectly.

GLOBAL kitchen knives are manufactured in the Yoshikin factory from high-quality Cromova 18 steel. The hardness of the C 56-58 Rockwell scale was achieved through special processing. This means that the knives retain their extreme sharpness for a longer period of time. GLOBAL brand products have become a term mainly in the professional field. The chefs of the most famous restaurants reach for GLOBAL knives because of their impeccable ergonomics and balance. Above all, we can mention the Michelin-awarded London restaurant Le Gavroche and its chef Michel Roux. At culinary competitions, it is becoming a rule that at least one of the three highest awarded chefs uses GLOBAL knives (most often the G-2 knife).
