Tojiro belongs to the larger manufacturers and the breadth of its product portfolio corresponds to this. Knives with his logo are distributed all over the world thanks to a really good distribution policy. This consists in the application of minimum sales prices, which are set by the manufacturer himself. So if you come across a lower price, it is definitely an unauthorized seller with an unclear origin of the goods. Of course, such products are not covered by the manufacturer's warranty.

We are glad that, as one of the first official distributors, we have the opportunity to present a brand new product - Tojiro Basic. As the name itself suggests, it is the gateway to the category of layered blades of this brand. It has a San Mai construction with a core that you wouldn't expect in this class. It is made of high quality VG10 cobalt steel from Takefu Special Steel Co. The high carbon content ensures hardness at the level of 61 HRC, while it is anti-corrosion steel. The outer layers are made of softer steel with a 13% chromium content, which also meets the requirements for stainless material. The blade is polished with a hairline texture and sandblasted shinogi. On the right side you will find the manufacturer's logo, its name in kanji characters, the designation of the core steel and the country of origin. The edge is symmetrical in the shape of the letter "V".

The profiled handle made of high-quality Micarta has 3 nicely embedded reinforcing rivets. So we are talking about the full tang construction. The reason for the designation of the Basic series may just be the absence of bolster. On the contrary, we claim that this minimalism suits the knife very well. As well as tasteful discreet packaging that underlines the positive impression of the entire product. We haven't come across a product that offers so much for a truly symbolic price. Perfect materials, excellent processing and top cutting performance. Kasumi Tora's knives found a more than equal opponent.

We focused our attention not only on the kitchen knives themselves, but also on the history and background of the company, the scope of its assortment and the ability to repeatedly achieve the highest quality standards. Today, the shogun for a Japanese manufacturer is its customer. This explains the enormous care for quality that producers devote to their products.

It is enough to mention the DP method, in which the manufacturer can prevent unwanted decarbonization at higher temperatures. The result is very hard and durable blades DP series kitchen knives.
